With over a decade of dedicated experience in teaching and performing, Prajyot Dewaskar brings a rare blend of traditional depth and contemporary relevance to music education. A trained Hindustani classical vocalist and a passionate mentor, he has guided students across all age groups—from young beginners to senior learners—helping them discover not just music, but their own artistic voice.
Prajyot's teaching philosophy goes beyond theory and technique. His approach is deeply performance-oriented, ensuring that every student gains the confidence to present their art on stage. As the Founder of Kalpanaad Music Academy, he has built a vibrant community of learners who engage in classical music, as well as light forms such as bhajans, ghazals, folk, and Bollywood music. His students consistently achieve excellent results in recognized music examinations, including those conducted by Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and Indira Kala Evam Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya.
A PhD Scholar, UGC-NET qualified educator and a graded artist of All India Radio (Mumbai), Prajyot combines academic excellence with real-world performance experience. He has presented his music at prestigious platforms such as Ramotsav in Ayodhya, Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, Gajana Maharaj Shegaon Sansthan Maharashtra and various cultural and devotional events across India.
With an engineering background and over 23 years in the corporate world, he truly understands the time constraints and aspirations of working professionals and students. This allows him to design his teaching in a way that makes learning music both practical and fulfilling—whether pursued as a passion or as a parallel career path.
